In terms of its rig, the Trintella V is equipped with a ketch rig, which provides a balanced and stable sailing experience. The boat’s keel is of the long variety, which offers superior directional stability when compared to a similar vessel with a fin keel. However, this design choice also means that the boat can be more difficult to maneuver in tighter spaces, such as in a harbour or marina. Additionally, the Trintella V has a draft of around 1.80 – 1.90 meters (5.91 – 6.21 ft) depending on the load, which means that it can only enter major marinas.

There are at least two salons, three huts, and two wet cells so that you don’t obstruct one another’s path. When entering through the navigation section, there is a chic chair, a table for charts, a cabinet with signal flags, etc., as well as a round bench with a bed-like top. Pass the functional galley with an extractor hood and a cozy dinette as you make your way back. Additionally, a sofa bed can be made here. The captain has exclusive use of the entire back portion, which includes a beautiful bed, lounge, plenty of storage space, and a private wet room with a shower, toilet, and sink. A roomy single bedroom, a two-bed cabin, and a separate bathroom are located at the front of the yacht. The useful workbench in the latter is surprising. There is a sizable sail storage area at the extreme tip that is also reachable from the deck. For people who enjoy comfort, style, and unlimited sailing, this Trintella V is a jewel.
The cuddy and lounging area amidships offer a comfortable space for the crew or guests to gather, while the aft cockpit features the helm and sail controls for easy navigation. The saloon is a few inches shorter in length than the previous model, with a small table and an L-shaped settee that can be converted into a full-size sea berth. The galley is compact and equipped with a stove, fridge, freezer, sink, dishwasher and cappuccino machine. The aft cabin is roomy, functional, and beautifully appointed, with a head and shower that is shared by the captain’s quarters. The forward cabin is unique and has a berth that is bigger than a single but not a full-sized double, and over it, there’s a slide-out berth. With a total of six good sea berths, the Trintella V is ideal for long passages, and with a watermaker, there are showers for all every morning.
The ship maintains control and stability even in extremely harsh weather. Fantastic sailing can be had from this centre cockpit. There is plenty of room, and you instantly feel secure. You have a wide-angle perspective from here and can sense your connection to the ship. You enter the ship through the cockpit, and as soon as you do, it immediately feels like a roomy yacht. The desire to stay on board is strong, in part because you can see plenty headroom everywhere when you peek above the waterline.
Powering the Trintella V is a typical inboard Perkins diesel engine with a 115.0 hp (85 kW) capacity. The immersion rate for the Trintella V is about 399 kg/cm, which is equivalent to 2239 lbs/inch. This means that for every 399 kg of cargo loaded onto the boat, it will sink 1 cm, or for every 2239 lbs of cargo loaded onto the boat, it will sink 1 inch.
